About PMI
Passion Ministries International is a multi-faceted ministry of the performing arts where our goal is to take the arts where the spoken gospel may not reach. Passion Ministries began as a youth-advocacy performing arts program focussing on instructing youth ages 12 & up in the creative arts--as an alternative to the streets. The PPAC (Passion Performing Arts Company) seeks to broaden its members horizons by opening up to them opportunities that may not otherwise be available, such as, international travel, mentoring, career development, as well as ministry and performance training. Vision
Our vision at PMI is to instill a passion for ministry in today's youth and to plant a seed of righteousness in their hearts that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Some of our goals include:
- Implementation of mentoring programs
- International ministry trips w/ sponsors for underpriveledged youth that,otherwise, couldn't afford the opportunity
- Career counselling
- Community projects (we will rebuild our communities)
- Provide apprenticeship opportunities for young men to teach them skills that they can use later
- Multimedia productions
- Life skills training workshops
- Outreach to young mothers
- Community evangelism
- After school arts programs
- Taking the arts back into the public schools
Passion Ministries has accepted the mandate to "go into all the world..." We won't hide behind our church doors or refuse to cooperate with those of like faith (regardless of church affiliation). We are determined to take it to the streets. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the arts! Please keep us in your prayers and consider making a donation or partnering with us. When you sow a seed into this ministry (or into anything that God has commanded you to sow into) you will receive the reward of every life that is touched. And although your financial gifts are appreciated and definitely necessary, there are many other ways to sow into this mighty move of God; such as, volunteering, sharing your experiences and advice, donating necessary vehicles for trasporting youth, equipment or props, sponsoring a child, providing contacts and connections, or just opening up your doors for us to come minister in your city!
